Hey,
I want to upgrade my pc, I am planning to buy an AMD A10 7890K APU.
I have a Nvidia Geforce 650ti and I don't want to buy a new video card.
Will the Graphic performance be improved with this APU? Or should I look for another one processor? I am not a gamer, but sometimes I play and I don't set the quality to the maximum, so I don't need a hard-gamer PC.

Solution

Not knowing the apps you will run, the $125 i3-6100 is a great mid range processor and a nice step up from your i3-2100.
You will need a LGA1151 motherboard and ddr4 ram.

If your apps can truly use many threads, you would be better served with a true I5 or I7.

Most apps depend on the performance of the single master thread, and the i3-6100 shines there.

Past that, I would bypass the intermediate $200 cpu options and use a $235 i5-6600k, planning to overclock it for some 30% added cpu performance.

You cannot use an Nvidia card for Dual Graphics. Basically, Dual Graphics is Crossfire that's done at the hardware level instead of the software level. It needs to be an AMD card.

I will find out which budget friendly cards work best with that APU and I will reply shortly.

For that APU, AMD recommends the R7 250.

Also, what motherboard are you going to be using? The motherboard needs to support dual graphics for this to work the way you want it to.

What cpu and motherboard do you currently have?
In what way does your performance disappoint you?

The integrated graphics of an APU is excellent, suitable for low end gaming. But your 650ti is equally good.

If I were to suggest a cpu upgrade, I would suggest the i3-6100.

More likely for non gaming use, you would be most satisfied with migrating windows to a ssd.

I have ARSock H61M/U3S3.
If that APU has better graphic performance at gaming, than the current 650ti, then I don't need a new video card. My computer is sometimes slow and can't handle softwares properly like Autocad. I am upgrading my ram as well from 4gb to 8gb 2400Mhz or 1600Mhz

The A10-7890K would be a modest step up from your i3-2100 as far as compute capability goes. Moreover, you would need to replace your motherboard and possibly ram.
A much better option would be something like a I5-3550.
Old gen parts still sell new for more than they are worth.
If you keep your motherboard, you can buy a i5-3550 for $100 on ebay.
The best might be a I7-3770 which will be $210 on ebay.
