Can this laptop play modern games like Battlefield 1?

Only on absolute lowest settings, and even then dont expect more than 30-40 FPS for a demanding game like BF1.

This is a $300 laptop, you cant possibly expect it to be even close to the same as $1000 gaming laptops.

These APUs will be noticeably slower then your typical i3 laptop at day to day tasks.

Also given that this is the absolute budget HP line, dont expect it to last much longer than the 1 yr warranty.

My advice is if you need a laptop then get a $350 non-gaming laptop
If you need a gaming computer then get a used desktop
If you need a cheap gaming platform then get a console
