AMD A3-3400, how does it perform?

Just wondering if anyone has had any experience with this CPU, how did it perform for basic functions and gaming? I know it is an APU but if purchased it will be paired with a gpu.

The point of an APU is to use the integrated graphics for basic things and low grade gaming with the higher grade APU's. If you are going to get a dedicated GPU, then pick something else as the CPU portion of that chip is very weak. Look at an i3.

Pretty sure there is no A3 3400, so I'll assume you're talking about the A4-3400.

First of all, this is a dual-core with no hyperthreading, and it is one of the first-generation APUs from 2011. It is also the bottom-line APU, meaning it is exceedingly weak. If you seek to game on it you will not be able to run anything that is more hardware taxing than Minecraft. I would not recommend you buy this.

Fair enough, I will pick the i3 - 3250T then. My friend wants a PC for League of legends and Overwatch and I found the A4 -3400 dirt cheap, now I know why
