my son has an A10-5800K with no dedicated GPU and it plays LOL, WOW and SWTOR with no problems. If you do go with an APU, make sure you get 1600 speed RAM as it will help the integrated GPU.

The Trinity A4-5300 APU by itself is at best adequate for playing games at low resolution (1366x768 or lower) and low graphics quality or medium graphics quality depending on how demanding the game's graphics are.

Overall, the integrated Radeon HD 7480D graphics core is somewhere between the performance of a Radeon HD 5450 and HD 5570. I suppose you can say it is likely to be slightly faster than a Radeon HD 6450.

The integrated Radeon HD 7480D is significantly less powerful than the integrated Radeon HD 7660D found in the A10-5800k.

The HD 7480 only has 128 pipelines compared to the 384 pipelines found in the HD 7660D. In other words, the HD 7660D has 3x more pipelines than the HD 7480.

In terms of CPU processing power, the Trinity / Richland APUs are not as powerful as AMD's FX CPUs. Close, but not as powerful.
