May i select
AMD 3.4 GHz FM2 A4-5300 Processor or
AMD 3.6 GHz Athlon II X2 280 processor ?

since both have the same price but A4 have less cache memory. Is it affecting your processes or multitasking ability ???

Sorry to find out no-one's replied to this.. Between those 2 i believe you should go for the A4-5300 unless you're going to overclock. The thing is, the a4-5300 will run hotter since its got a built in GPU but will provide a better upgrade path since amd is going to be using the socket FM2 to dish out its next generation of CPU's. While the Athlon is already a bit obsolete and the socket won't provide a good upgrade path. But they can overclock if you have a good enough chipset and a good cooler.

I'm currently running the Athlon II X2 280 at 4.3Ghz (it will do 4Ghz at stock voltage, I believe). It's also has a 59w TDP and uses Phenom II-based 45nm architecture (high IPC). I'd stick with a high-clocked Athlon II X2 until Steamroller and Kaveri are released.

FM2 are good only if you dont want to buy a discrete graphics card. Cache is good for gaming, the more the merrier. But keep in mind that these FM2 processors will allow you a better upgrade path. In terms of raw performance.. The Athlon is better

I am not gonna overclock the pc since its already highly clocked nearly 3.4 GHz .

One more thing i am not going to upgrade with extra graphics card and i need little bit high performance for other applications and then i am using for the Gamming .I understand that A4 this has a better graphics but if i used asus M5A78L-M/USB3 then it has Radon HD3000 graphics and A4 have nearly radon HD 7000+ Series so it gona be used by this mobo ?

You won't get a GPU ?

I just both my CPU using now for $512 all. Including GPU, Monitor, And all stuff needed for computer.

I know It's a low end computer. But you can play all games....

It's an Intel CPU

my friend actually i am upgrading my CPU with AMD A series since it is alerady integrated with Radeon™ Graphic HD 7540D and i don't want to buy a new Graphics card .Previous Configuration is
Intel Core 2 duo E4500 2.2 GHz
Intel D945 GCR MOBO since it have less clock and not good graphics.

Can i overclock it if ya then how ?

if Upgrading from intel to amd So you need to change you MOBO then.

and you can't overclock a4..

How's your PSU going. You can overclock it if you have 500 watts PSU and above. for at least 2.8 GHz

Just go to you BIOS then change some settings there.

Go add some voltage and frequency.

Set CPU host clock to (Enable)

CPU Frequency (255) You can go higher if you want.. that is only 2.8 GHz 255x11

Cpu express (ASYC)

Set rAm voltage control and Psu Voltage control to 8.2

Last > CPU voltage control > 1.39375 Volts

I am not responsible on any outcome of this steps. It will be all your decisions.

But I am pretty sure it will work.

You can go upto 3.2 GHz. But that so suck for core 2 duo

ya pretty good But my C2D is E4500 2.2 GHz and PSU Is going to change with VIP 450W With high +12V Rails
Secondly what is the use of Overclocking ?
Since i am little bit new Here

You can absolutely experience better. but not really needed. You don't need to overclock your CPU or GPU or RAM or MOBO. Just play games and be satisfied.. hahaha

there is some overclocking that is so hard. Like 40% or 60%. That was soo suck.

Thanks bro satisfied but u didn't tell me use of overclock

I told you. "You can absolutely experience better" in Overclocking. Overclocking is just to put your cpu in fast.

technoboyhrishi i have seen you posting quite a bit and i am going to tell you definitively what to do.
Either save up and aquire a 8350 and decent GPU

Or your now option get a A10-5800k and more ram and general upgrades.
