I have a Lenovo M78 desktop with the AMD A75 chipset. I was wondering if it properly supports a 4TB drive? I see in the BIOS it does recognize the driver properly but wanted to make sure there aren't any problems particularly with partitions over 1.8TB. I will be using Windows 10 Home and formatting the drive as GPT (I have UEFI turned on in the BIOS, and have turned off Legacy mode).

Mainly want to make sure I won't experience a corrupt partition as it fills up beyond 1.8TB or 2TB as I plan to make one large 4TB partition).

If you intend to boot from 4TB drive, then OS must be installed in UEFI mode.
If you just want to use the drive for secondary storage, then legacy mode is fine too. 4TB drive must be partitioned in GPT partition scheme for full capacity to be available.

OK I will be using the 4TB drive as a secondary drive (should have specified). I have a 240GB SSD that will be the boot drive. Just wanted to be sure this was OK on this system.
(It's going to be a home file storage system that will replicate to the cloud so I don't need much other than a lot of storage hence the 4TB storage drive).
