The APU is a CPU + GPU.
The CPU portion sits below an FX-4300, and the GPU portion is very poor for gaming (probably below an R7-250).
The best value would likely be to buy a dedicated graphics card like a GTX1050Ti.
Upgrading the CPU would help too but I'm not sure how much money I'd spend before it would be better to build a new computer.
(you'd plug the monitor into the new addon graphics card BTW, so you'd not be using the GPU portion of the APU anymore).
For example:
1. run DDU to remove drivers

- use recommended option for SAFE MODE removal
2. finish DDU then shut down
3. add video card
4. Plug monitor into video card, then start Windows
5. install NVidia drivers (if NVidia card)
