AMD A8-5600K temp

on idle in a OS it runs about 40-50 Celsius and in the bios it runs about 67 Celsius is this a normal temp on idle. ( I mainly care about the temp while in the OS ) AMD A8-5600K

I have a very similar CPU, the AMD A10-5800K.

Those are hot temps.

Keep in mind that in the BIOS, there is not sleep states for the CPU, so it is running at 100%. It shouldn't go higher than 70C.

At idle, it should be under 40C. Are you using the stock cooler? Do you have good airflow in the case?

at idle it is about 35-40 in a OS. thank you I for got that it runs at 100% in the bios. thaks I am going to get a better cooler in the future
