Hi!

I've read and watched some videos in tweaking my cores. I hadn't got any luck changing them to Quad Core. I have here an image from CPU-Z that it only detects 1 core.

I already tried.. Task Manager, MSCONFIG, No luck finding options to tweak in my BIOS and as well editing in REGEDIT.

Can someone please help me figure this out. What can be the best way to change this to 4 Cores without installing WIndow 8 again.

Note* I am using Windows 8.

Thanks.

1) Open Task Manager-> Performance-> CPU

2) If you see FOUR GRAPHS then you are fine. If you see ONE GRAPH, then right-click it and choose "change graph to-> Logical processors"

You should see four graphs.

If you don't which is odd, then for some reason you only have a single core selected in your motherboard BIOS so you'd have to boot into that ("DEL" on bootup) and change that in the CPU section but I highly doubt this is an issue.

Update:
I see what you mean in CPU-Z. Weird. If Task Manager won't show four graphs as I discussed then it's got to be a BIOS issue. I'd need to know your motherboard.

You could also try flashing your motherboard BIOS to see if that helps, or just try to reset the default settings for the motherboard.

Hi!

I checked my task manager it seems to be greyed out for logical processos.
