amd a8 6600k

hi ,
since amd didin´t answer me yet I would to ask to Tom´s hardware community why my amd a8 6600k cpu only shows 2 cores on windows task manager since that should have 4 cores as MB and others softwares, and web sites shows ??

yes cpu z , aida , hwmonitor , etc... shows 4 cores and 4 threads

If 'nucleos' means modules, that is correct. If 'processadores logicos' means threads, that is also correct.
The APU actually has 2 modules. Each module contains 2 integer units and 1 floating point unit that share resources. Thus making it a dual core with 2 integer units per "core" or module.

What do the other tabs above mean in English?

processadores logicos means logical processors
velocidade maxima means max speed
virtualizaçao:ativada means virtualization activated

In that case, TM is only showing 1 "core" in its graphic display, and listing 2 cores and 4 threads in its text. Since the other apps are showing the correct information, I can only assume it is a Win8.x issue. (there's still many)
I guess I have to admit defeat. I have no answer. Sorry.

If I change graphic to logical processors shows 4 graphics. for my research the opinions are different from people to people , I have asked AMD for how many physical cores they have and they said 4 . so few days ago i asked about the windows don´t say the same thing and i got no answer until now. On devices shows me like I have the four cores and other softwares like cpu-z , most web sites says 4 cores too . if is really a bug i hope gets fixed for win 10! for the games that I play with my r7 250x 1gb and with this cpu really looks like a quad core. btw thanks for the help and if you now something about this tell me
