Hello friends,

I am really new (but technically sound) to computer gaming per se. I was looking to build a budget machine that can allow me to play new games with 1080p on high settings (I know the words budget + high/ultra settings are two contradictory terms) but.. I have seen videos on youtube, recent ones, using the above build and playing games like tomb raider, bioshock, bf3 etc on ultra settings with good results. This is the base unit i will be purchasing, http://www.ebuyer.com/662337-zoostorm-desktop-pc-7260-3017.

AMD A8-7600 3.1Ghz Quad Core APU
8GB DDR3 1600Mhz RAM
1TB SATA 3.5" HDD
Power Supply
250 watts

I will then purchase the above GPU (R7 240) and add it to have a dual graphics set up.

Is this a decent build or is the Intel G3258 or Intel Core i3-4160 with 4Gb Ram + the GPU mentioned above better?

Also, can you please see the link and tell me whether the audio card has taken up the 1 PCI x 16 slot or if I can actually add the dedicated graphics card (slot wise).

Many Thanks,
Jeff

However if I purchase 270x, then I will put to waste the iGPU right, since that is not a dual graphics compatible gpu for the A8-7600, that is why i was thinking about the 240. Because if i wanted to nullify the iGPU, then I could purchase Nvidea 750 ti which costs same as 270x and has good performance right?. My real question is, is my above build viable or is it not bang for the buck.
