amd a8 processor's in built gpu can handle GTA 5?

gta 5 will on pc this sept - dec. !

my question is can amd a8 ( in built graphics ) run gta 5, not so high but playable. without any extra gpu.

Without knowing the system requirements nobody can give you a definitive answer, but, based on logical, comparitive thinking, I'd say you could play it at low-medium settings.

Like I said though, you won't know until Rockstar release the system requirements.

GTA 4 wasn't particularly friendly towards PCs.

Try running GTA 4. Whatever you run GTA 4 at eg. medium you'll have to run it at a lower setting than that.

I'm sure there is a way to get it to play smoothly, probably at low settings with a lowered resolution and editing to the .ini to reduce draw distance if they don't have a setting for that. Your ram should be fine, and processor might be okay, pretty much everything might handle it fairly well except the graphics cores in the APU.

If that is what you have currently, I would recommend a gpu upgrade to a GTX 750ti. Anything faster will be bottlenecked by your CPU, and I don't particularly trust that PSU either.
