[SOLVED] AMD Adrenaline crashing my PC. help?

ok, so I put together a new build the other day and I am having some issues when trying to install drivers.

my build:
asrock x470 SLi/AC
R 5 3600x (stock cooler)
16 gig corsair RAM (3200)
RX5700xt red devil
adata nvme drive
seagate barracuda 1T 7200 rpm HDD
corsair CX 750M 80+ bronze
windows 10 H

to be more specific, when trying to install Adrenaline, to install the drivers for the 5700xt, the PC crashes (blue screen), and initiates a reboot loop, continually crashing until either windows is reinstalled or reverting to a recovery point prior to Adrenaline being installed.

also of interest is that device manager does not recognize my graphics card as a 5700xt, but rather the generic MS display adapter. (though I think that is because it is running the generic drivers.)

I have made sure all new windows updates had gone through properly, so I see no issues there.
I have not attempted to update the UEFI for my MOBO, but I will be trying that next.

any help you guys could give would be great, thanks!

I figured out what was wrong. I wasn't having a driver issue. The UEFI for my motherboard was old, and needed updated for the 5700xt drivers to work properly. Working great now that I fixed that.
