Hello,
I have a question I have 2 x 4gigs 1866 mhz Hyper X Fury black ram modules,
I have bought just same 2 modules to have 4 x 4 gb 1866 mhz,( I had found that AM3+ CPUs can only support 2 x 1866 on all 4 channels) so I have connected my new rams to mobo and pc isn´t booting wih new modules, and not even with old modules... So I am asking you guys if I had broken my mobo with this or my RAM modules should automaticly downclock to 1600 mhz or , when the new mobo comes I need to insert there only 2 modules and downclock them manually?

I can send you pics of Ram ..
My setup:
Processor: AMD FX 8350 4.0Ghz
Mobo: Gigabyte 970A- DS3P rev2.0
RAM: Kingston Hyper X Fury 2x4gb ( and another 2x4gb),1866Mhz CL10
GPU: Asus Turbo GTX 1060 6gb
PSU: SEASONIC zdroj SS-500ET T3, 500W

Memory is guaranteed in the form sold. Other combinations you decide to make have no guarantee to be compatible together.

When changing memory, clearing CMOS may help if you have trouble getting old memory to work again.

I can't tell you much more since you list no part numbers for memory. You then go on to make reference to a new motherboard.

Okay, I am going to try to buy new 2x8 GB (16gb) 1866 mhz kit to avoid problems of 4x4 (16gb) 1866 mhz lowering to 1600mhz, by the way is there differenct between 2x8 1866 mhz vs 4x4 1600 mhz RAMS ? I am asking since I am playing games, and I have saw that the 4x4 are like 15-20fps better...
