Amd apu motherboard help

Will a gigabyte ga-f2a68hm-ds2h motherboard support a athlon x4 860k. The motherboard manual keeps talking about an apu.

Athlon X4 860K is a CPU with no processor graphics. A video card is required when using it.

AMD also makes the A-Series APU's with processor graphics.

If you look in the List in the GPU Frequency column you'll see N/A for the Athlon X4 860K as it has no graphics.

Yeah and I am buying a GPU but the motherboard manual always says apu not cpu. Will this cpu and the r9 380 work on this motherboard?

A video card is required when using it. The R9 380 is a video card.

Yes, but the motherboard manual never says anything about a cpu. Only an apu. So do I need to do anything special besides the GPU and drivers?
