I bought a cheap Ebay AIO cooler which is suppposed to come stock with the fx-8150 however i can find any software that allows me to change the pump speed/fan speed nor the led(which is off and only flickers on power on and power off) . I tried corsairs IQUE but idk why i thought that would work

Does anyone have a copy of Chill control or an alternative that works with this pump?

Is this actually the AIO cooler that came with the 8150? There weren't many of these; most 8150s were packaged with the standard heatsink at the time. Googling Chill Control finds places to download. You'll have to use your judgment which links are safe as I cannot attest to the legitimacy of any of those.

The larger question is: why? If it's the AIO that came stock with an FX-8150, it's a decade old at this point. Using a 10-year-old, used AIO is absolutely insane.

Im using an 8120($55ish on ebay). im not 100% sure if it came with an 8150 but everything i've found I think its close enough to say it did. When I google chill control I can't find any working links that aren't sketched out which is why i've resorted to forums, and the aio was 30 bucks on ebay, everything works and well it looks cool for the price.

i can control fan speeds through my mb i just cant monitor pump speeds or use the led light without the software... unless there another way without software but im really learning budget stuff comes with a different kind of price

Edit: forgot to mention asetek websites deleted old links for the software

Well, could you actually link to the ebay purchase? Or provide some kind of branding? It's hard to give advice on software for an AIO if you don't tell us anything about the AIO. While Asetek holds a bunch of patents on the design, things like software interface aren't universal.

Is there a USB header for the pump to the motherboard? Without that, you likely aren't going to get much UI software control unless you find something which manages the PWM headers on your motherboard from Operating System (assuming WIndows).

If there isn't a USB header (micro/mini to 9-pin or otherwise) there likely isn't much to rely on other than a PWM curve out of BIOS.
