News AMD Asus X870(E), X670E, and B650(E) mobo buyers enjoy rebates in Germany — no such offers yet spotted in the U.S.

Pricing has been a bit ridiculous on these new 870 motherboards (granted, new release generally run that way). A number of them are more expensive than the CPU you're going to run on them. It's especially bad when you think about the specs: the only thing changing between 670 and 870 essentially is making USB4 standard. A number of 670 boards can and do have those features. So research your board well to identify your choice among 870/670 boards!

I personally am waiting until the 9000-series X3D release to see if it's worth upgrading everything.
