I am building this for my neighbour office friend. He is a Stock Broker. He will use mostly for browsing, MS Office and a software which is used for his broking. He wants it to be fast. Should I buy AMD Athlon 3000G or Intel Pentium G6400? I don't know about the software that he uses for broking. Is the better iGPU in 3000G of any use for him in his software? I think the processor in G6400 is better than the 3000G. Please help.

I could not see intentionally choosing a dual core CPU in almost 2021...for anything; bump the Intel option at least to an i3-10100, costing your friend an extra $60 or so...($125 CPU cost)

The 3000G has virtues, I'm sure, but, they are rarely worth listing...and you can bet your bottom dollar it is slower than the above.

Neither of those CPUs are a good choice.

And you can't select a CPU in isolation. A PC is a whole system. CPU/motherboard/RAM/software/etc....
All wrapped in a "budget".

And the Athlon?
Sorry, but responders can't proactively know the comparative prices of every part in every market.
In India,
Athlon 3000G = $64
Pentium G6400 = $72
Ryzen 3 2200G = $102
Ryzen 3 3200G = $113
Intel i3-10100 = $127
Ryzen 3 Pro 4350G = $165

Motherboard that I chose
Intel = Asus Prime H410M-E = $74
AMD = MSI A320M A Pro Max = $57
