The 5350 is a tablet CPU, it has no place in a laptop, much less a desktop PC.
That's not necessarily true. For a basic internet/email/light office machine, it's actually ok. Anything more strenuous than that though and it's not going to be pretty.
It's hard to find a comparison using discrete GPUs, but Tom's has some numbers comparing other aspects of these CPUs:
As much as I'd like to recommend a chip made by the underdog, AMD's CPUs are just plain slower. Not only that, but you have no upgrade path, whereas with the i3, you can drop in an i5 or i7.
