I recently bought the Radeon xfx 4890 and threw it in my computer because my xfx 8600gt died. I was wondering if the card I bought my be a little to powerful for my processor and if that's the case does that mean I am not using my card to its full potential. I have never really OC'd but am willing to try bumping my processor speed a bit to see if that helps. What do you guys think?

You are definitely bottlenecked.

64x2 is an AM2 processor, amirite? See if you can find an Athlon II x2/3/4/ that's AM2.

But in the case you're strapped for cash, a simply .6ghz OC can yield 40+ FPS.

Thanks for responding Shadow,

Geez I don't even know where to start. I believe its an AM2 but I am not sure. So if I were to go to go the OC method your saying a .6ghz increase on a 2.6ghz processor should allow me to get the full use out of the card?

Yes, this is an AM2 CPU. Try overclocking, but if you are new to this, please make sure that you do a lot of reading first. And use a good quality HSF. Google is your fiend, my friend.
