is my CPU Temperature at Core#0 in 50 degrees celsius is fine?..that temp was in IDLE...

another thing will be..i found some site regarding the Windows Index Experience of AMD Athlon 64 X2 5200+ 2.7Ghz (Brisbane) that they're getting like 5.6 score or just say it to 5.0 to 5.6 is the max i saw..but for me it was just 4.6?..is there something wrong with my processor?...

last question ^_^ ..can i use the stock HSF for AMD A8 5600K to AMD Athlon 64 X2 5200+ 2.7Ghz Processor?..

advance thanks for those concern that will reply on my started topic.. ^_^

Solution
Well. 50°C at idle is a bit of concern, as it appears on AMD's website the max operating temperature of the CPU ranges from 55°C to 68°C.

As far as Windows Index Experience goes, it might be lower because when your CPU is being tested, it could be overheating (given your idle temperature) and the CPU is throttling back and reducing it speed during testing to prevent damage to the CPU. Also, WIE isn't a particularly good indicator of CPU performance mind you, I wouldn't worry if my CPU score was lower than someone elses. It can be a bit bugged/silly at times.

And for the heatsink question... well. I assume you can simply because I think that the A8 5600K is based on the FM2 socket while your current CPU is based on the AM2 socket, and...

Solution
is there any idea on what should i do with my processor?..i even fully clean my stock HSF for AM2 and i guess i put the right amount of Thermal Paste on it and my processor is at stock frequency only...

so sir the issue of IDLE temp might be the reason why im getting a low score at WIE..well like you said that no need for me to mind what score i get for WIE..then maybe i wont bother anymore hehehe ^_^ ...

so sir the FM2 stock HSF can be use in AM2 Processor..do you think sir that maybe some changes with my CPU temp if i use the FM2 stock HSF?..cause the AM2 HSF has a full flat bottom that touches the processor while the FM2 HSF has a center flat bottom that touches the processor in which that the processor is much bigger in term of size than the flat surface in FM2 HSF that will touch it?..

thanks for the answer sir! ^_^

You are most welcome.

As far as trying to solve this issue is concerned, I know you've already cleaned out the HSF, but to make sure, I'd try redoing the process - makes sure that both the CPU surface and the bottom of the HSF where CPU makes contact is completely clean before applying a small amount of thermal paste.
Also make sure that the CPU cooler is properly mounted too! That is often the cause of poor temperatures.

As for the FM2, I see what you mean - I personally do not own neither an AM2 nor FM2 computer, so I wouldn't be able to comment on the size of the fittings. All I know is that they both use the same mounting mechanism, so you would be able to mount the cooler, but whether or not it help is a question I wouldn't know.

I would think though, that since AMD's stock coolers haven't changed particularly much in the past years, that using stock cooler for an A8 5600K would not be particularly useful.

Also I guess, another to thing to check would be to ensure that all your case fans are working and your case is indeed getting enough airflow.

sir Lmeow my problem with CPU over temp is solved..i just bought a after market HSF..which is a cheap one but perform at least better than the stock HSF..Cooler Master Hyper TX3 and now im getting 33 degrees celsius in Core#0 and 34 degrees celsius in Core#1 @ idle...

and regarding to what you've said about the reason why i got a low score at WEI is because of the temp..i think that was correct..i dunno cause when i re-run the WIE test i got now a 5.7 score with my AMD Athlon 64 X2 5200+ 2.7Ghz (Brisbane)...

thanks for the help sir ^_^...
