Amd athlon 64 x2 5200+ less oc options in BIOS acer powerM8

so i have got the processor amd 64 x2 5200+ brisbane 65nm
I have Acer power M8 , EM61SM-AM ..... so the stock bios of this pc does not allow OC so i flashed a moded bios which has some tweak options in it like
FT Vid
core clock
bus speed /...../
And my processors stock core clock is 2700mhz and in bios there is only 2800mhz option available so , iam so dessperate to overclock my processor but there are only less option,s ..... another prblem when i select 2800mhz option i see so changes on CPU-z ... .? :/ 🙁

I think you have to overclock the brisbane cpu's using the fsb. I had a 64 x2 6000+ and if I recall correctly thats what I had to do. I don't think they have unlocked multipliers.

hey did oc my cpu to bus 216 from 200 and core clock 2900 from 2700mhz .... but iam not happy with that and when i select bus speed 233 or 250 etc my cpu dosent oc and show's its stock clock values .... 🙁

Are you locked to overclocking at 233 and 250? Or can you adjust by a single mhz? If you can, try overclocking at 222 fsb, giving you 3ghz core clock.

You can also try raising the voltage VERY SLIGHTLY. These chips get hot, and I hope you have an aftermarket cooler. The stock cooler wont cool the chip properly with extra voltage.
