AMD Athlon 64 X2 5400

I just bought an 5400 BE and i did overclock it to 3.2ghz just by up the multiplier to X16.0 but it would only get there if Cool & Quiet is disable on my Asus M3A78 C-M,i am new to overclocking so i was just wondering if any of you guys oute there that know what i should do to be able to overclock this great Cpu with Cool & Quiet enable?

my 5600 is the same and I wouldnt think of turning the fan down.

Don't think its possible, overclocking the CPU defeats the reasons behind Cool & Quiet. Which are to save power and performance to when its needed.
