Well lets go back to the blackboard ... when you turn it on do you get any "beeps" as the PC goes through the POST cycle?

If so, how many beeps (short and long) ... depending on that you will get some indication of the mobo.

If you get nothing ... then usually PSU is the first thing to check - see if the mobo has a light on the board showing primary power is there when you turn it on - you need to take the side cover off (usually the LHS cover if your facing the front of the PC).
