AMD Athlon 860K + 144Hz Monitor?

Hello,

My current setup is: Athlon 860K, GTX 1050Ti, 8GB Ram, Hanns G HH251 60Hz monitor.
My favourite games are Battlefield 3-4 Multiplayer and Titanfall 2 Multiplayer, Dirt Rally.
I get about 70-80 fps in these games (medium settings), but they have stuttering issues, it is really annoying. I guess the CPU is the bottleneck, it's not for gaming. I'd like the have a smoother gaming experience, but don't wanna spend too much. I read some forums, watched some Battlenonsense videos, but still don't know what option should I choose.

1. Switch to Intel, Pentium G4560+ddr4+B250+windows license (costly, still not 144Hz)

2. Sell the 1050Ti on Ebay, buy an RX 560 (£100) + the new LG 24MP59G Freesync IPS 60Hz monitor (£135@Ebuyer)

3. Keep the 1050Ti + Acer XB240H 144Hz Monitor (£190@Amazon UK)

4. Sell the 1050Ti, buy the Gigabyte RX570 (£160@Ebuyer) + Acer XF240H 144Hz Freesync monitor (£190@Amazon UK)

I don't mind playing games on medium settings, and other games like Dirt Rally run on Ultra.
Is Freesync worth it? Will I see any improvment with the RX570 over the 1050Ti with the 860K or is the CPU a big bottleneck?

free/g-sync does not help with stutters(gameplay freezes for a split second) they only help in syncing the frames to the refresh to avoid judder.

Since you are getting enough FPS the cheapest solution right now would be to enable vsync which will stop most if not all of your stutter,if you don't like vsync use msi afterburner(or similar programs) to limit your fps to 60-70FPS.

You don't need a new license if you go for new hardware you just have to re activate your licence through the phone with an automated procedure.

Thanks for the suggestion. I just tried vsync, fast sync and adaptive sync in BF4. It felt sluggish.

I think I will go for the Acer XB240H.
