Hi to all PROs here regarding CPU

I just wanted to ask regarding my Auntie's PC

Specifications

CPU : AMD Athlon II X2 250 3.0Ghz

Motherboard : ASRock M3A770DE

RAM : 2 X 4Gb DDR3 Kingston HyperX Black 1600Mhz

GPU : 1Gb 128Bit GDDR5 Asus GTX 650 Direct CU OC Edition

HDD : 1Tb Western Digital Caviar Blue

PSU : Q-Star 600W V2.3 (Korean True Rated PSU)

I need to ask if the processor is bottle necking the GPU or any other hardware from this PC

because from what I notice (usually i always tried running WEI first every time I newly reformat every PC)

from this PC i got CPU - 6.5 RAM - 7.4 - GPU - Aero 6.0 Gaming 6.0 HDD - 5.9

I was wondering why I am having a 6.0 only for the GPU while in my set up of personal computer

I'm having a 7.4 Aero and 7.4 Gaming with my Proc of Core i5 same RAM, GPU, and HDD.

Thanks in advance for the answer and solutions.

It's very unlikely that your auntie is playing Crysis 3 for example so I would think she isn't playing any "demanding" games but rather some facebook games here and there. The readings which you get in windows information don't really mean anything, if you PC works fine and your auntie isn't complaining about speed or anything else then there is nothing realistically to worry about.

The readings which you get in the Windows index were most likely used a lot back in the Windows Vista and early Windows 7 stage although realistically now you can't really define how good a PC is off of the ratings that it get's in the Windows information.

So the answer to your question, no the CPU isn't bottle-necking the GPU.

no Sir Petrossa hehe, shes not playing a game shes a little old already. But its just me who's bothered why its getting low performance. While in my setup of PC the Asus GTX 650 is hitting a little bit high not only in Windows Experience Index. But she mostly open MS Office and other application does this affect the bottle necking of CPU? does the CPU slow down everything aside from gaming? Thanks in advance

Also is it worth it to buy Phenom II X6 1075T? here in the Philippines it will cost 3000 pesos or 64 dollars.

A Phenom II X6 1075T is a bit overkill for what your auntie wants to do although at that price, go for it. You get 6 cores which is pretty good.

If you can get the Phenom II X4 965 or anything similar at a considerably lower price, go for that. Once again, if she isn't complaining don't stress it.

No Sir shes not playing anything. Its just me who noticed. Actually she doesn't also know if her PC is slowing or no hehe. But can you recommend me some application to use to see if the GPU is performing to its real speed. Thanks in advance.

THANKS to all your replies Sir Petrossa and Sir NerdyComputerGuy, very much appreciated. I'll think about changing the CPU or no since shes not playing anything. Thank you again.
