AMD Athlon II X3 435 OVERCLOCK?

I was told to buy a AMD Athlon II X3 435 Rana 2.9GHz and overclock it but i've read that it sometimes doesnt work whether it be the mobo or the processor itself.. is it safe to get one and do this? also will a 5770 run cs source and MW2 at HIGH FPS

No guarantees when overclocking. A safe overclock is to increase the cpu fsb to 240 and drop the ram fsb to 533 (for ddr2). Or with my motherboard I used a ratio of 1:1.66 for my ddr2 to maintain 800 ram speed while overclocking.
