AMD Athlon II X3 450

Greetings Tom'sHardware community,

I have some questions I'd like to ask about the Athlon II X3 450.

1. How would the Athlon perform on games like TF2 and CS:GO paired with an XFX R7 250x?

2. How would the Athlon perform running a gaming server?

I do not want any suggestions about getting a different processor, unless it is in the price range of 20-30 dollars and has better performance overall, and is compatible with the Asrock 970m Pro3.

performance should be fine but id recomend a 750 ti its much better performer

750 Ti... Faster, but more expensive. Stick with the 250X if you don't have the budget. Unless the 750 Ti is <$20 more, of course.

It'll probably run fine. Running servers are probably fine too.
