I'm looking for a "best for the money" graphics card for my desktop that costs under $180. I do like to game but I not a hard core gamer.
I currently have a HP P6624Y with ATI Radeon HD 4200 Graphics card, AMD Athlon(tm) II X4 635 Processor 2.90 GHz and 8 GB ram. I already upgraded my power supply to Corsair GS700.
First, I need help figuring a good graphics card for my situation. Then, once I figure out a graphics card how do I know which is the best brand. I know lots of people say that it doesn't matter but I think it does. I know first you look at cost, warrant, support etc. but, how does the over clocking and number of processors all fit together? I'm just learning about graphics cards and as you might be able to tell I look at every detail. It doesn't have to be this year's card or even ATI. Maybe its last years card but up a grade. I'm looking at everything.
