AMD Athlon ii x4 640 AM3 + Asus M5A78L-M LX V2 Motherboard AM3+ ?

Heyyy Guys ,

So I was wondering and i think im right saying that the AMD athlon ii x4 640 3.0GHZ AM3 willl work in a Asus M5A78L-M LX V2 Motherboard AM3+ , correct ? , i have done some research and as everyone has said you can put a AM3 processor onto a AM3+ motherboard , has i am hope to use these for my new build

Yes mine is working perfectly! I used a bit of overclocking too !
