I put together this system just for kicks. I had several components already, added the missing pieces and ended up with this:
AMD Athlon II X4 640
Asrock 970M Pro 3 Motherboard
8GB Crucial RAM (4x2)
EVGA GTX 950 SSC GPU (Hand me down from my main system)

Is this able to overclock at all? It's not my main gaming rig, but thought about trying it just to see. It just has a Cooler Master TX3 right now, so don't know how much room I have if I did OC it.

Thanks

Solution
Yes. I had one years ago. Overclocked it somewhere around 3.4. Need to increase the bus speed to about 225. (in increments of course). Make sure the memory doesn't overclock with the change in bus speeds

FYI: Don't expect much of an improvement. (most likely won't be worth the effort)
