I currently have a amd Athlon x4 880k but I am thinking of buying a i7 7700k but I want to know is there much of a difference is it worth the money? same question for a 1050 2gb to a 1070

Huge difference for both. Go with the Core i7 7700K and GTX 1070 out of those. I'd really rather go with a Core i5 8600K or i7 8700K unless you can find an exceptional deal for the 7700K. I'd even go with an 8400 before going with the 7700K. It's up to you what you do choose though. Remember you'll need a Z270 motherboard for the 7700K and a Z370 motherboard for the 8400, 8600K, 8700, or 8700K.

Question from ethanad937 : "Mother board support?"

I am online now for a short while. I was clear in my last post about which kind of motherboard you'll need. You need a Z370 or Z270 depending on which CPU you get. If you can't afford that then just keep what you have until you can afford it. We can't make miracles happen here. A Core i7... Any Core i7 will not work in your motherboard. You need a different socket and a different chipset to do that. What is your budget? Please tell me your budget and we can figure out what kind of upgrade... If any... you can do.

My budget is max £700 as I have found a gtx 1070 and an i7 7700k which Borge come to £680 but I guess my upgrade will have to look a little different with that budget
Right now I have these specs:
Gtx 1050 2gb
Amd Athlon x4 880k
16gb ram
1tb ssd
100gb hdd
500 gb hdd
And I have 4 fans in my pc and the mother board as you already know is F2A78M-HD2
