Ok am new to the whole building game but I want to give it ago.
Budget: £700, Can go slightly over but I would like to keep it around this figure.
Purpose: gaming PC - watching movies - occasional warcraft
Would like to buy the parts from scan.co.uk or overclockers.co.uk or any other UK site except for ebuyer - would like to buy start building within 2 weeks.
Reliability is very important to me so I would like this system to last a minimum of three years without any problems.
Overclocking: Would like to give it a try, just a simple OC
Motherboad: Gigabyte GA-MA790X-UD4, AMD 790X, AM2+, PCI-E 2.0(x16), DDR2 1066/1200/800, SATA II, SATA RAID, ATX
CPU: AMD Phenom II X3 720 Black Edition, Sok AM3, 2.8GHz, 7.5MB Total Cache, 95W, Retail

PSU: 580W HiperPower HPU-4M580 Black SLi Ready 20+24Pins P8 Ready ATX2.2/BTX
RAM: 4GB (2x2GB) Corsair TwinX XMS2, DDR2 PC2-6400 (800), 240 Pins, Non-ECC Unbuffered, CAS 4-4-4-12, DHX
HDD: 500 GB Western Digital WD5000AAKS Caviar SE16, SATA 3Gb/s, 7200 rpm, 16MB Cache, 8.9 ms
OS: Microsoft Windows Vista Home Premium SP1* 64Bit 1Pk OEM (DVD)
Optical: LG GH22NS40 22x DVD±R, 16xDVD±DL, DVD+RW x8/-RWx6 ,12xRAM SATA, Black, OEM
Still missing an air cooler, don't know which to get. Not really sure about com
Not sure about compatability, also not sure if i've left anything out which is vital. Was considering changing the processor up to a phenom II x4 940 BE and to offset the price I would changing the GPU to one of the 4850s but from what i've read not many games take full advantage of 4 cores so I opted for a better GPU instead.
Would appreciate any pointers on which parts I could change up.
