What i'm leaning towards purchasing is an 8350 with a Gigabyte GA-990FXA-UD3. I know that the 8350 is basically a 8320 with more factory clock.. my question is can the 8320 achieve clocks of ~4.7+ which is common for an 8350 and can it be done on the Gigabye 990FX UD3 board? I also was looking at the ASUS 990FX Sabertooth but it's ~$50 more and I'm looking to save as much money as I can so I can put it into an SSD. Can the Gigabyte match the ASUS in terms of overclocking ability?

I'll probably slap an H100i on whatever I choose to get.

Solution
I have the gigabyte 990fx ud3 with a 8150 overclocked to 4.5ghz stable and I know I could get it to 4.7. The only thing holding me back is I like to stay cooler and at 4.5 I never break 60c with an antec water cooler. I did do 4.7 for awhile but would get near 70c and I just don't ever want to risk it. Also the 8350 overclocks better and doesn't run as hot which is why im pry going to switch to the 8350 and shoot for 5.0ghz

Thanks for the reply, 4.5ghz would be enough for me. I think I'll just see if either of them go on sale for black friday/cyber monday and make my decision then.
