Hey I was just wondering if this is any good for playing games like battlefield 3 or Crysis 2, 3.

Motherboard: GIGABYTE F2A75-D3H (FM2)

CPU/APU: AMD A10 5600K (OC to 4.2) [note that it uses an FM2 socket not AM3+]

RAM: Corsair Vengence 8GB DDR3

GPU: AMD POWERCOLOR RADEON 7770 GHZ EDITION (OC)

PSU: Corsair VS Series VS550

HDD: Regular Seagate 1 TB

ODD: ASUS (That's not of any importance)

Now I am thinking of buying a motherboard with the AMD AM3+ chipset because my current GIGABYTE doesn't support any of the AMD FX series Processors. Should I buy one for future benefit??

Anyway that's basically it.. In the end all I really want to do is play Games such as the ones listed above on medium to high graphics. 😀

No, I currently have these parts and running Windows 7 OS.

So you are just asking about how well your current system can handle those games? Sorry, what you are asking is it a big ambiguous.

That build should run those games decently, probably medium settings. If you want to upgrade it, a new GPU would be a good choice.

Is there a budget for your upgrades or are you just asking if it would be worth it? A new GPU > new CPU.

Ok, ok.. those are things I want to use though if you reckon I should use a better GPU. Then I'll whack in my 7870, buy a new Motherboard and CPU?

I would look at a HD7870XT as a good choice for gaming, or something less expensive, the 650Ti Boost.

I still don't know if you already own these parts or have just picked them out. If you own them, don't bother upgrading the CPU now. If you don't, then I would go for an AMD FX-6300 and AsRock 970 Extreme3 motherboard.

Cheers mate
