amd card worked fine until pc-format, please help!!!

I formated a friends pc and installed all drivers, everything worked perfectly and 1 day after his monitor doesnt show anything , just plain black.I cannot open up the pc because of the guarantee label and right now I dont have a cord adapter for the mobo (p8h61).
Is there any way to fix this problem

If its able to enter the bios then you can reset it back to defaults.
You can then try booting from a boot disk and run basic diagnostic utilities.
Theres: Hirens, Barts, the ultimate boot cd, any linux live distro, your windows repair disk ...

nope , absolutely no signal from the gpu. only thing that works is the keyboard (capslock)

Did you try another monitor & cable? If its not using the motherbd gpu then try connecting a monitor there.
Other than that and it being still under warranty, its time to call the manufacturer.

If it is under warranty, call the manufacturer. The HDD format has nothing with no signal on monitor, if something happened it should be when entering windows not before it.
