Hey
I have this massive problem with my computer that literally drives my up the wall.
As the thread name says, CCC stops working, which leads to blackscreening and then pops up again after a few seconds, this may happen 5 - 10 times untill I lose my nerves and reboot or bluescreen - which doesn't help very much.

I've tried reinstalling CCC a hundred times with no success.
Currently trying to research how to flash BIOS but getting interrupted by CCC crashing.
Any kind of solution helps a lot!

May your framerates be high and temperatures low!

Navigate to the C: Drive, Right-Click on the file named "USERS".
Select "Properties".
Under the "General" tab, look near the bottom for a check box labeled "Hidden".
If there is NOT a check mark in the box, place a check mark there.
Click "Apply", a pop-up window should come up, select "Yes" to apply to all sub-folders.
It might take a bit to make the change, so just give it time to finish.

When it's completed, Right-Click on the "USERS" folder again.
This time UN-CHECK the HIDDEN box and click "OK" to apply to all sub-folders again.
Once it has finished, the files in the "USERS" folder should be good to go.

Catalyst Control Center should function normally again. Hopefully this works for you as well...
