AMD CATALYST CONTROL CENTER is not working

today i just got some OS updates in my LAPTOP.. I am using windows 8.. after updating OS my amd catalyst control center is not working. I am getting a msg like
"-- catalyst control center cannot be started there are currently no settings that can be configured --"
Dono wat to do am using AMD RADEON HD 7670M... now the intel hd graphics crap is alone working for games 🙁

What was the name of the update you installed?

Since you just updated it might be incompatible with the update so:

I don't know anything about Windows 8 because I have no interest in that ugly-looking OS but do you have Microsoft .net framework 4.5 installed? CCC can't run without it.

it is bundled with the driver package so it should install if he has installed the drivers

i tired it and it is showing some update to download but when i click download it is showing "COULD NOT CONNECT TO SERVER COULD NOT PARSE ERROR"

I dont know what to do from here but did you try re-installing them?

and also if you can go to this website and download the correct drivers for windows 8 and try to install them and see if that works, these are the only drivers i could find for your card the are closest to the latest:

Of course the poster has tried reinstalling the driver. I have the same message and purging the system of the driver and reinstalling does nothing. Can someone post a suggestion other than reinstallation?

My dear friends, i have Dell 15R and having same problem for so many days... and only Intel HD graphic is working. The only solution is to download guru uninstaller through this link...( http://www.guru3d.com/files_get/display_driver_uninstaller_download,10.html ) and then download amd catalyst software suite through link ( http://support.amd.com/en-us/download/desktop?os=Windows+7+-+64#amd-catalyst-packages)... Its solve your problem ..

First clean your system from old display driver and then then install and catalyst software suite..
