Downloaded AMD Catalyst software for my HD5970 but it won't open because some DLL crap is missing. Click too download. Did it. Installed it too be told no can do not compatable for my Windows Pro 64bit. So dam now what. Without my card won't run right

Which driver are you using? the last available driver is from 2015, or the Crimson Beta in 2016, that GPU is really old (over 10 years) it won't really be supported.

It's only for desktop power so Its more than enough. Don't need a GTX 1080ti for internet lol. I was using Catalyst software it wouldn't work right. Missing DLL. I've uninstalled in now and I'm looking for sumet different. My 5970x2 has 3,200 Processing units 2gb GDDR5 memory 160 texture units 4.64tflops dual gpu. Its enough.

I think Windows 10 should automatically download some drivers for that - if you deleted all the Catalyst drivers, would that work for you, or do you need some of the Catalyst functionality?

I've used the CD drivers that came with it. Works very good. I prefer older cards. I've given mine nee thermal paste new fan it runs cool and games well for what I need.

Are you doing this on Windows 10? I'm kind of surprised they worked, as Windows 10 wasn't out at the time, and the drivers on the disc are very outdated.

[Windows 7 pro 64bit. The original drivers work fine. It's a good card.
