AMD chipset driver for window 10 fx8350?

So this is my first AMD built and I am just wondering do I need to install any driver for my 990fx chipset? Does AMD have any overclocking software like the intel extreme tuning utility?

fx 8350
8gb fury hyperx

The disk that comes with the motherboard should have all of the drivers you need for the 990fx chipset, just install those and you'll be good.

The issue is those driver are outdated... So I went to asus website and search for drivers and there is no chipset drivers.

yup also did that. I downloaded the newest crimeson driver but when I tried to install it, the setup just crash... Don't remember the exact error message but I can try again. Although I don't really think that will work.

Thanks for your help anyway. I been running the system without any CPU driver and there is no issue to it, so I will just leave it as it is.

You don't need any specific chipset drivers, W10 has feature to install new WDM drivers as soon as AMD release them. Actually many complain that they get installed, want them or not.
Look at Device manager, CPU drivers should be there. 8 times.
If you have Nvidia GPU, Crimson will not install.

Yes! I do have two nvidia gpu in my system. Maybe that's why I can't install the driver....

You won't necessarily get any new drivers for processor, my are from April 2009 and I have newest Crimson drivers. Chipset drivers are about same vintage. There's nothing wrong with them.
Thing is that chipset doesn't have unified drivers but there are separate drivers for sound (CODEC chip), LAN, SATA etc.

Audio and LAN are Realtec so you can get newest drivers from Realtec.
Asmedia SATA drivers from Asus. AHCI driver is included.
In any case, if it works fine, don't fix it !!!
