i just completed my first build with an amd 2400g cpu and a msi b450 mobo. i updated bios and installed windows 10 no problems.in device manager it only shows microsofrt drivers 2009. should i update amd chipset drivers and whats the best way to do it
No, you should only update the bios when something is not working as it should. There are risk with updating the bios and you can brick the board. If everything is fine, leave alone.
Go to the motherboard model website and select the support tab. There you will find all of the available drivers for your board.
thanks for your reply. found the chipset drivers and downloaded them and unzipped. do i need to run the setup file only and is there any reason for alarm.

As long as you've downloaded it from the manufacturers website and not a 3rd party then run it, no cause for alarm.
No need for alarm, just run the setup file or .exe file and it should install the driver. If there are several .exe files, it is usually the one with an icon beside the file name.
