AMD computer problems

I recently builder a AMD computer and I have some issues if any one help me figure out. I put it everying on the mother board. Some how when comes to the PSU. I connect all the applicable cable there. Somehow, my computer won't turn on, when I put up the power to it. I won't turn on, but when I push the connection cable tightly, then it will start to have power. When I let go of my hand everything stop like no power there. Would this be some fault with mother board or just something the power supply unit it self acting up?

Hello... Ok... can you post a image of the "connection cable" you are pushing on for us?
Is it the Big multi-wire one from The PS to the MB connection? or the cable from the wall outlet to the Power supply?
