A $200 dGPU that requires an IGP for feature-completeness. Sweet.

Still could have used 4.0x8 to smooth out scenarios where the GPU is tight on VRAM. If the chip was intended to use with IGPs for additional outputs or encode/decode, piping a 4k60 stream through IGP consumes 1.5-2GB/s which is an uncomfortably large chunk of 4.0x4 IMO.

I don't know why it doesn't say it there, but bth the 6800M and the 5900HX are PCIe4. May want to double check that or maybe add the specific exceptions as there are Zen2-based laptop APUs which may be PCIe3, but it's not the whole lineup.

Same 180sqmm Cezanne die for laptops and desktops. Unless AMD changed the specs post-launch to unlock 4.0, your laptop or software is misreporting available capabilities.

AFAIK, AMD's APUs are limited to x8, so software reporting x16 should also be incorrect.

That's so bizarre, lol. I'll wait on an update for CPU-Z, I guess.

And it does make sense, as they did mention "PCIe4" with the new APU gen.
