AMD Control Center 3D settings question

Well im new to pc gaming so please excuse my noobyness. Anyway, under AMD control center, in gaming performance there is a standard 3D settings. You can adjust the settings to favor performance over quality(pixel quality I believe).

So my question is, does this affect games like StarCraft 2 or Team Fortress which already have graphic options? Should I not be messing with these settings?

You need a 3d screen and 3d glasses for 3d to work, yeah that wont do much for you

I do not think the setting is or 3D screens but rather any program that has a 3 dimensional world, meaning world of warcraft, starcraft, team fortress ect...

At least that's how it appears in the description.
