if you plan on getting a discrete graphic card then the FX is better. otherwise go for the A10.

The A10 is a APU which is a processor and graphics card combined and the FX 8320 is just a processor. So it depends on what graphics card you get with the FX.

the fx8320/8350 are both very much superior gaming cpus if you plan to match them with a discrete gpu. since you plan to match it with a r9-280, i'd say get the 8core fx cpu.
