Amd cpu fan vs aftermarket cooler!

Hello i recently bought a coolermaster geminII m4 to replace my stock amd 8350 cooler which made so much noise but after 3 days i found out that geminII m4 is low profile cooler and i shouldnt use it.. so i switched back to the old noisy cpu fun!i need a good cpu fun with non as much noise as stock fun for 8350 4gz! i've seen a lot saying that CM 212 hyper evo is a great choice! should i get one ?

The CM212 is a fantastic cooler. I have it currently installed on about 8 machines.
It does take a large case though. make sure you have at least 160mm of Clearance for CPU coolers.

The Hyper 212 Evo is incredible for the price, but is quite tall. The Zalman Performa is a good alternative if you need a shorter and/or cheaper option

what space you have in the case for the cooler since the evo 212 need 160 mm form cpu to side of case .

i have 175mm space from motherboard to side but i dont wanna remove my fun in order to calc the distance ! but apparently the cooler fits in there ;P

yeah if you have 175mm clear then the CM 212 is the way to go. just remember when putting on the paste to only use a drop in the middle. the pressure from screwing the cooler down will spread it out.

i know mate i did installed my geminII m4 but i got it remove cause it was bad anyway thanks guys i am gonna get that one

the other thing when you gone put the back plate check that it will not touch the case you could use electrical tape between it leg and the case side .
