Hello,

Recently, I found out that my AMD FX 8350 8 core Processor has been Parked by Windows 7

I found out that other people had the same problem but used a Hotfix by Microsoft (http://support.microsoft.com/kb/2646060) But unfortunately, for some reason, that did not work for me. I then tried the Unpark CPU App and that did not work either. So Finally, I tried to edit RegEdit and change "ValueMax" to 0 (http://forum.cakewalk.com/Windows-7-amp-Core-Parking-a-better-way-to-Turn-It-OFF-m1861804.aspx) But, Yet again, It did not work and I still have 4 parked cores, So Is there any way to fix this or should I just attempt to contact AMD Support?

Thanks,

-Joe

I'd use a different Power Opions Plan... the High performance or create a new plan based on this one... later if still necessary configure the BIOS Power saving options (AMD C1E Support, and related: Cool & Quiet, Smart Fan control, etc.).. then if still necessary run the unpark application again, and/or run something game or heavy resource program to force the CPU unpark... or run a different program.. restart Windows if the program suggests it and if necessary.
Unparking doesn't make a difference anyway, to me anyway & I play a lot of games such as BF4/BF3. I also have an FX 8350 @ 4.6 and it made no difference to me so don't bother forcing it.
