Amd cpu using smt multithreading ? (2015)

Hi guys...

Im thinking to wait for New intel 5th gen or AMD CPU rather then going for AMD FX-9590 or Intel i7 4770k CPU

We all knows intel cpu is the best but Intel CPU are very Expensive

Wanted to buy AMD FX-9590 because of its low price *core &5.0 GHz but the cpu is a thermal disaster and i7 4700k is much better than FX-9590 and giving higher FPS compared to i7 4770k.......So thats a No for AMD cpu for me

That's why I'm waiting for year 2015 for New AMD CPU using (SMT)

In year 2015 AMD will no longer be using CMT multithreading.They are going to use SMT multithreading in thir CPU chip like Intel

Is this true about AMD using SMT multi threading ?

Will AMD CPU be cooler and better performance for gaming? wanna know more......

There is only one thing that would make AMD cooler - more miniaturization. the other stuff is just gravy.

And no, intel doesn't have to expensive, just look at the xeons, price range the size of the Eiffel tower.

Intel is *not* more expensive for the performance. Intel has the better price/performance ratio for gaming.
There is a reason AMD is losing money, losing their market share, and ditching manufacturing in countries that use minimum wages; they have no advantage outside of rendering.

The Pentium G3258 matches the Athlon 760K, for $70 (Pentium) versus $90 (Athlon).
The i3-4150 matches or beats the FX-6300, for $125 (i3) versus $120 (FX).
The i3-4360 matches the FX-8350, for $160 versus $160.
The i5-4590 beats the FX-9370, for $200 (i5) versus $230 (FX).
The Xeon E3-1230V3 beats the FX-9590, for $250 (Xeon) versus $330 (FX).
There's nothing even close to the higher clocked i7s.

More to the question, no SMT will not help AMD's heat or power consumption. Only switching to a smaller silicon process could make a significant impact on that, but that would require AMD to raise their prices even more, which would be a death sentence for them.
