AMD CPU with Buffered-ECC Support

Hey, I'm new here. And I'd like to know which AMD or Intel CPU's you guys know which supports Buffered ECC Ram. Because I have a bunch of Buffered ECC lying around.

I'm not looking for a Server grade CPU like the AMD Operation or the Xenon CPUs. Something like the AMD FX/APU or Intel Core i3/i5/i7.

Because the AMD site doesn't say what type of Memory they support unlike Intel's site.

Forgive me if I ask or say anything stupid on the way.

There are no non-server processors that support buffered, or registered memory as it is sometimes refered to, that I know of. AMD has several processors that do support ECC memory, but it must be unregistered.

xeon e3 1230 v3 supports ecc ram. it is an i7 without the integrated graphics however you might need a server board to use ECC ram. i've never checked if any consumer boards have it.

I have been looking around and some forums has said that there are some consumer boards from Gigabyte that support ECC. Something like the " Gigabyte GA-770T-USB3 " but I'm not sure what CPUs from AMD support Buffered ECC. And by the way, The RAM I have is from Micron. Its registered, so only a Xeon, or Operton will work with it.

Unless you are building a server, its just really not worth messing with this. You are going to spend more money in the long run, and have slow memory performance if you do not require a server situation.
