AMD CPU with Nvidia graphics card

Hey guys, I have a question.

And I was wondering if AMD processor can be compatible with Nvidia graphics card (Geforce GTX 650)
Someone told me not, and told me to get Intel and that if I get AMD, it might not work, but if it did, it wouldn't be running at what it would be with intel.

It will work no problem!
Intel processors themselves are superior in the high end market, but wont perform better with a specific brand of graphics.

Sure it will work! Have a FX 8350 running with a GTX 750 Ti without any issues.
